Battery with winch?

Depends what winch your using and what your using it for.
Just make sure its wired correctly tho.
Mine had a warn xd9000 and a wagon battery I think and it worked fine, I now have a winch that needs way more juice so have 2 newmax 86ah 1000cca each.

Well ill only be using it for getting myself out of trouble when im on my own and friends when they with me, basically it will be used to pull one vehicle out the mud, not sure what type of winch im going to get, any recommendations for one?

For your battery you want a 650CCA minimum for winching
All the normal size winch will fit drum size of 66mm x 224mm

If you use pulleys in conjunction with the winch it lowers the load on the winch so less strain on the winch and battery
