Evening folks, I'm looking to get a cordless impact driver and wondered if anyone had any recommendations on which ones? Sealey have just launched a 18v lithium jobby which i quite like and makita powertools always seem good quality but they are always pricey. This is the sealey one:

Sealey CP50COMBO1 - Cordless Lithium-ion Impact Wrench 18V 1/2"Sq Drive 300lb.ft with Battery

I can't afford snap on or something ridiculous but would like a decent one, ideally with one of those lithium watsit batteries and it must be half inch drive. My budget is about £250.

Thanks, Harry

try the next best thing then either a recon snapon one or a brand new mac tools one i have both and the snapon 1 by far is the best but cost nearli £400 but is amazing m8 any bolt ya put it on crank shaft bottom pully bolts pulls them strait out i havent had a bolt yet wich my snapon hasnt done but for a litte less nearer your budget you can get a mac tools one wich is just as good i use both every day at work as only got 2 batterys each but mac tools is way underrated and is just as good

Had a De Walt (DW059) for 6 years without complaint - replaced the original batteries after 5 years, but that is all. Gets a lot of use during the summer months as part of my work, but only vehicle stuff over the winter. As I say...no complaints. :)
