have done a search an not really found what i need...
battery light does not come on with the ignition so will not charge. tested bulb in display and that works fine.
I think the alternator may be goosed but i can't afford one till i get paid in a month (starting a new job next week).
now i have removed the aircon pump so was thinking i could stick another alternator on there. have a few lying around from different cars but they only have two outputs.
if i put on a second battery in parallel with the second alternator wired thick wire to the battery and the other over to the original alternator connection. would my dash light work and get the system going? or should i run a new cable from the dash wiring down to the second alternator?
I appreciate the rev counter won't work but that is fine for now if it gets me mobile again
