So off i went to enjoy a days fishing only to find on my return that i had left the lights on,
opened the door with the key and the bonnet, to connect jump leads, after a few minutes the alarm was going off the only way to stop it was to lock the door with the key,
We now have no response from the key remote buttons, enough juice in the battery to illuminate the headlights,
If i open the door with the key i can sit in the car without the alarm going off but if i try and turn the key in the ignition lock the car is imobilised, and off go,s the alarm??
I am unable to turn off the alarm with the remote buttons,
we then tried the EKA procedure at least 8 time and got the single beep ( incorrect code) every time? am I to assume that Land Rover have put the wrong code on the security card?
Does the battery need to be fully charged for this to work,
Eventually I gave up and got a lift home (80 miles round trip!) and its a bank holiday, I have the battery on charge but not feeling very optimistic about going back tommorrow, any ideas fellas?
