Hi
I am now stuck, can’t think of what to do next.

I have an M reg P38, over the last 4 weeks it has developed a battery drain. I can charge the battery and if i don’t use it for 1 day, the battery is dead. Recently i took the battery off to charge and now the central locking doesn’t work. Think the drain has something to do with the suspension as when the ignition is off and if i push one on side the suspension resets it self! Does anyone know if it is right that the suspension is live all the time? Has anyone had the same problem? All advice gratefully received
Cheers Gary

rf reciever, common fault, hundreds of posts on it. surprised you didn't come across it when you searched:rolleyes:

p38's need good batterys, make sure its the right one for the car and is in good condition, as said the rf reciever on the earlly models pick's up signals from other stuff that wakes up the becm (as far as ive read) try unplugging the aerial from it so it only pick up close this way it wont pick up other stuff.
