So far so good.

New master
New slave
New fluid

Clutch appears fine but im having Gigglepin check the whole thing over before I go to France. Just to be sure!

Also looks like I got a pick up hood and sticks rather cheap! Should fit and look better than the Truckman.

I want to make it more secure so the plan is to weld some steel mesh to the poles. Then fabricate a a sort of rear door, couple gas struts and a meaty lock should be good!

Providing it will work how I think it will that is...

If that doesnt work second plan is to fab up a sort of steel cage that will sit inside the hood.

I got the bubbly corrosion in places too, drives me nuts, really need to get some acid etch primer for the ally but god knows which one is any good?

The problem with bubbly corrosion is it's coming through from the back...a bit like tanking a damp wall with sealer from the front the moisture just pushes it off the old buildings here use cal cause it breaths
unless you isolate alloy from steel it will always come back...imo...

That isnt ideal for me!!

Im pretty certain I heavily sealed all the Ali from the Steel when I soundproofed it!

Nice supprise in this months LRO! Looks like ive a fairly decent chance of being in the top 9 maybe even win!

Be nice if y'all voted for me ;):)

So I stupidly lost my locking wheel nut key and the original seller was utterly useless in providing a new key - even though I had the code....:confused::mad:

So out comes the welder and alot of tin foil o_O

Horrible welding but dissimilar metals so you know... all off and no damage or splatter on the Bowlers :D

This week has been just exhausting. Constant rain and been all over London doing snagging jobs then back to Holland Park which is a swamp now!

While only drive about 100 miles so far ive been in the landy in Central London traffic for 3 - 4 hours a day. Which hasnt been a picnic but also not too bad considering its a 110 :) Only one issue went to parallel park in Belsize Park and some C U N T in a blue mini pulled in behind me as i was parking! so pulled up next to him. Hazards and beacons on with a note "broken down recovery en route"

Went to lunch :D came back 30 mins later was still there very annoyed hahaha

Also went in the ULEZ :eek: boss paid so not too bad.

Though today was nice got a set of sticks and a PVC hood for £100 from a lovely chap on Def2. Already prefer it to the Truckman.

Ill see how I get on with it, If I like it ill give splash out for a nice canvas one with zips and solid sides. Any suggestions?

Did you ask them if they where coming back this year to see the mad lady sat on the roof of a 90 on the top of a hill in the middle of nowhere in Bulgaria

Breslau rally. They won last year:)

Oh and only a short list that’s good:)

Health check done at Gigglepin. Near enough all good!

- Adjusted the master properly so good.
- FPR starting to weep
- Two shocks misting
- TRE replaced
- New rear prop needed due to worn yoke

Otherwise all good! Nothing expensive so im happy!

Did you ask then how it was adjusted wrong?
What rear prop do you have and how did the yoke get worn? was the UJ OK?

Cheers

Incorrectly adjusted master, lock nuts too loose. Pedal does feel better now so im glad.

Standard original prop with new GKN UJs. UJs are ok.

Guessing worn thru hefty use i would guess, increased by the lift and LSD i suppose.
