Mate they are foookin superb!, fancy a giant one for me garden! Shudder to think how much they cost.
you make them from scratch / plans etc?

PS dont think i did not spot who to ask about a chassis swap, look at the size of that tasty engine hoist!

such a shame, they are stunning, but in two weeks they be covered in graffitii and crack heads......

Haha the gantry is damn useful!

Hopefully they will survive reasonably well!!!

Yup totally from scratch designed by our engineer, started off as rough sawn oak beams. Planned down to 150x150 and made into beams.

Then clad with larch which was a nightmare lol double compounded mitre angles

Landys serviced. Changed all oils bar the diffs as did them less than 6k ago.

As always im covered in oil! one day ill find a way of doing it without making a total mess!

Changed the rear pads too as where getting low noticed the passenger side caliper is on its way out. Not seized yet but the seals are going. Shall order a new one soon.

Now for a clean! Both me and the landy!

I will suggest this to you as it is something I am planning to do soon.

Get a second hand set of calipers and get them sand blasted, get a set of stainless steel pistons and genuine seals and you'll have a fit and forget solution on the shelf ready for whenever you need them

I considered it but I can buy an AP caliper for only a touch more and save myself hours rebuilding one!

So going to be heading off at around 3-4am on Tuesday Morning guna be a long ass day

what arches did you fit, ( they look great! ) did you have to drill or they fit existing?

Not tbh, they came on the landy!

Finally packed! Only took a day

At Euro Tunnel but the ticket machine ****ed up so me and a mate are on the next, next bloody train

First official stop after a detour thru a french getto. Going well haha

Just outside Paris now, tad behind but getting there.

500miles, 1 small breakdown and 12 hours later we made camp.

Decent place if a bit odd
