Ball Joint Splitter

Anyone tried one of these,

I am removing bulkhead and am stuck on lower steering drop arm ball joint, cannot get in to use 1, or 2 hammers.

So found this and wondering if this would do the trick....

Looks similar to leyland tool 600590

they work pretty well can be a pain to get on sometimes where space is limited

Dont use a hammer you will fek the fred.

the other way would be drop the wing off (only about a dozen bolts and a couple of wiring connectors)

Now THAT is a nice modification

Can i ask how you made the swivel or hinge unit? I read yer thread, but very curious.

Subframe under front pannel, and then split mud guards 50% on wing, 50% on chasis, the bonnet stay goes from battery box to wing to hold her open, and I secure with 2 wing bolts when not in use. Most of the time I use bonnet. When its time to flip her for serious work whip off bonnet undo 2 bolts and jobsagoodun!!!
