Hi Nate, can I make a couple of suggestions?

1. Don't be tempted to buy cheap ball-joints, get Lemforder ones. Paddocks do them for about £14 apiece;

2. When using a press to remove the old ball-joints, don't imagine that the press will just press them out. If you try to do that you'll break the tool. What I do is to use the tool to 'load' pressure onto the ball-joint, them firmly tap the housing with a good solid hammer and the shock releases the balljoint without damaging the press. Works every time.

Good luck

Dave

I use a very cheap ball joint splitter, cost about a fiver. That works fine for ball-joints on the steering and track rod ends, but probably isn't up to removing the DII swivel ball joints.
