Bad earth but where?

When i brake my left indicator light on my dash comes on faint...

This only happens when my sidelights are on..

So driving at night i start to indicate and then i brake and it stops my indicators and i just get the left indicator icon come on my dash, if i let off the brake it starts to flash again..


Not sure where to start to be honest. I know its a bad earth somewhere. maybe on the back left?

they worked fine until I reversed into something and broke my left indicator lense and bulb.

Thanks James I'll check there first next weekend before attempting the steering box replacement

because light hasnt got a good enough earth it will back feed through the other wires, unless your knock bridged the 2 holders

as i loved to tell the sparky when one of the coaches developed a fault..................."it's somewhere between the front and back" lol lol

Was only a tiny knock but enough to smash the new indicator lense lol. I'll report back within the week
