has anybody else had problems with the yellow britpart polybushes? i ask as when fitting the rear lower link arm to axle the two bush halves WERE too long andx i had to butcher them to make them fit, and im worried that its going to be the same for all the rest, i wont have brit part again thats for damn sure.and theres alot to be said for standard bushes, they seem to fit so much better after taking the old ones apart.

Dont take this the wrong way mate, BUT you've been a member of here since Aug 2009, and yet it appears to have come as a shock that Britpart = ****part :doh::doh::doh::doh:

not sure how many kits ive fitted but never found a problem, they do come with all bushes some that wont get used, poly bushes are just easy to fit/remove compared with std, bush mounts on axles will need knocking out a bit to aid fitting but thats the same with all bushes

only fit for the bin mate terrible quality ****parts i learned last year using a ****part as they are now know it pays to get decent landie parts you only get what you pay for with britpart one big headache and inferior cheap dodgy parts

So what is the advice here, bushes are on my list as the rear shock ones are fairly worn. Trying to decide between replacing bushes or getting new Terrafirma shocks with bushes provided?

i will second all these comments.Being quite new to landys bought the brit part poly kit as i thought would save going to get different bushes when i needed them i would have them all to hand.So far non of the shock bushes fit and just found the rear trailing arm to axle bushes are at least 3 mm too big to fit the hole. The big rear arm to axle does fit though.Learnt my lesson now though.

ive recently fitted 4x yellow britpart kits and fitted perfect, are you sure your fittiong right bushes to right parts,if you have single piece top shocker bushes you have to get them seperate kit comes with bottom bushes that are all the same and two piece top bushes which wont fit if yours are single ,are you sure your nit mixing A frame bushes

I fitted a set of black Britparts 5 years ago and they never got to their next MOT before they fell apart. Replaced them with yellow ones and they arestill good now.

Saying that I won't use Britpart again after a set of oval brake drums and a new set of front calipers that leaked between the castings. I got a replacement, but no one sent a note to appologies that I had been parked up and unable to drive the Landy.
I now tell my parts supplier that if it comes ina blue box he can keep it under his counter
