Backward step!

Just 'downgraded' from my black '01 TD5 Adventurer to a basic '97 Tdi 3 door. Now I can sleep at night again without worrying what will go wrong tomorrow and how much it will cost to put right!
I wish I'd kept my '96 XS

92k, 1 owner, full history including new cylinder head at 84k.
It's basically very solid and tidy. Just the odd small bubble to sort here and there, specially on the tailgate and 10 years worth of grime on the interior.
I got it for £2900 which I reckon wasn't bad considering I got £4k for my P plate XS with 130k on the clock........
