What is the problem? wont it go in. does it only got in so far?

Dont quote me, but to fit a salisbury diff you need to spread the diff casing with some special tools? i think?
Some one will hopefully confirm or deny it, there are two holes in the casing that are jacked apart??

go's in so far then the shim on the bering slids out cos of the presher and with it having to be twisted to go on the spline
it all seems that bit to tite to fit it back in
its been one hell of a day so far i had to swich the stering box and bar the frunt dif and the back and all from one crash

i will check the special tools at work to see if there is a tool for the job. as we still have old 110's with the salisbury diff i will see if there is any info on changing this item in my technical libruary.
