Hey everyone bit new to this so after some advice really , ive got an Breg 110 defender ( dads old one ) done few bits to her new side steps ect and general service stuff but myself and dad looking to do bit of green laning prob thetford forest way is there anything i should fit before attempting this ? Also i know defender not made for speed but mine tops at about 50-60 mph this is fine i just dont wanna push harder than that as quiet noisey at this speed and no rev counter lol , is this normal ? she runs fine little puff smoke on start up but thats it any help or advice be great cheers.:D

ye thats going very well is she a 2.5 n/a unit?

mines a 200tdi 90 a sits lovly a 55-60 much more than sound like it guna go bang :p

they were never designed for speed :D

just go in th vehicle as it is. make sure you have decent recovery points Forged jate rings are cheap and simple to fit and a couple of strops and shackles incase you need recovering

Cheers gcoo8154 yeah she is 2.5 na sits fine at 50-55 and yes def sounds like gonna go bang at anything more lol
Thanks Mad Hat Man they are fold up steps is that ok or think i'll be better without ?

Thanks redhand yeah think i'll just go for it lol Think me dads more worried as his new defender bit shiny lol

not wishing to confirm all belief in my ignorance where things mechanical are concerned ... but my x reg 110 does 70 quite nicely - starts to shake and shudder a bit at 80 tho- have driven her at that speed since new-am I killing her by going that fast ?

Hey 110 woman yeah mine feels like could go little more but i worried not doing her any good plus when i hit brakes it's then i realise how heavy she is as need runway to stop her haha

you sure it don't say KM/H on the speedo ?

your going to have to be far less polite if your intentions are to offend me

wouldn't dream of offending you- recognise that you have a psychological need to be superior - experience usually shows that the strength of need is in a direct inverse ratio to size of appendage.

Do appreciate that this may possibly not be case with you but... then again ????:)

is that a fancy way of telling me my cheesecake is ready ?

lol-sean , for you my cheesecake is always ready ;)

now answer the bloody question- is it normal/ok to drive a 110 at 70 ?

being nice won't get you an answer

but - if it starts to shake rattle and roll there's a bit of a hint there that it's not happy
