Hi, I have a Range Rover 322 and the aux fuel burning heater doesnt work properly. When set, the timer kicks in and the blower activates, but the air flow is cold and doesnt warm up. Any ideas please.

Most likely reason will be that the fuel burning heater has gone into lock out mode.

Three failed starts without a successful one will cause it to lock out. Failed starts are caused by low battery, low fuel or component issue although in reality there is not much too them so not that common to actually fail.

Three options:
1. Main dealer or indie visit to read faults and reset (price from £35)
2. Find someone local to you with a compatible diagnostic tool and hand over some beer tokens
3. You can make up your own diagnostic lead to plug into the Webasto heater itself and download the software from Webasto to enable you to reset the heater yourself.

I recently did option 3 for my Range Rover Sport using info found on Disco3.co.uk cost me less than £20

If you included your location in your profile it would help to know if someone is near you

;)

but sir, the chappie will be cold all alone in an un preheated rangie,
so take pity on those who froze,

while the rest of us put rubber mats infront of radgrills and hope the barsteward landie warms up quickly..

I'm sure he was fine, he got one of his peasants to follow him with hair dryers to keep him warm :p
