Can't select any gears just rolls back on my drive
Make? model? Year? Can't select any gears just rolls back on my drive
check your cableNo sorry just the fact that it has crept forward slowly with a lot of revs in drive but for about ten foot then stopped
@jamesmartin is the boy for gearbox problems as well as most things on LRs!.No sorry just the fact that it has crept forward slowly with a lot of revs in drive but for about ten foot then stopped
That's not something to look at without proper diagnosis to confirm it's failure especially if the indications on dash are okBeen fearing the worst ,looked at the price of XYZ module Christ nearly had heart failure
it has to select the same gears in the box, if you cant select p then cable isnt operating the box lever at all or correctly ,that will put on the green warning lightsBy the way all the correct gear display on dash ok when selected , and the two green flashing M,S warning lights they do go when ignition off then on but appear when gears deleted thanks again.
good thought t /box in neutral would give same symptoms ie no p or driveCould he have a transmission problem beyond the gearbox? Like prop donut or half shaft? I'm assuming there aren't any bits of steel lying on the floor or anything!
Will rover, have you tried it in both Hi and Lo ratios?
When I picked my Disco 2 Auto up after buying it in Warminster, I drove out the town heading south, i got about 5 miles and suddenly lost drive.good thought t /box in neutral would give same symptoms ie no p or drive
