If you search via Comma’s site then they state their product for an auto D3
is as below.

Opps Ive just changed my typo error from D2 to D3 which someone just has pointed out.

No you need ZF lifegard 6.

Nothing else, and you have to follow the ZF fill procedure to the letter or you'll have issues.

As long as the specs are matching the Shell ATF M1375.4 which is recommended by the builder but if they are different better not risk IMO, always check the official recommendations not what oil sellers are listing

As above, speak to these guys on ebay if you just want the oil or get this kit

Very interesting ... i'd be inclined to follow ZF recommendation then even though strangely LR recommends something else ... i'd be very curious to find an explanation for this contradiction

Indeed I go by Zf, using the wrong fluid will cause damage, many learnt that the hard way..

Plus 1 with regards to the refill procedure

mannol AG55 can also be used, I got 10 x litres from germany for just over £50

think that lifeguard is around £25.00 per litre and the normal change uses around 4-5 x litres, other spec I’ve seen is
TYK 500050

plus personally wouldn’t ever power flush my gearbox, always prefer to drain and refill it a couple of times

Mannol stuff works just fine.
Best prices are normally on ebay.

I did wonder as a D2 will take pretty ornery ATF.
