Finaly got around to changing above, oil was v dark not red like ATF should be.had trouble with the corner filter torq bolt or is it a star one ?I got a T27 in there two came out easy the third corner one had a bad head in it i managed to use the filter to unloosen it by twisting it hey presto it worked
In my sump someone has placed a magnet it works but i always thought that was part of the sump plug is this normal or did some do added protection ?? it was strong enough not to move with the workings going on inside Dred the thought of that mangled up inside .So job done whilst under me car aways good to have a look found two loose pipes cable tie quick fix time they were the air condition one,s. bought a 25 ltr drum of ATF II £59 quid still loads left for top ups power steering and alike.
Test run amazing smoother gear changes and best of all no rattles chuffed to bits again! ps next time get some new f in bolts for the filter
