Disco 1 Auto gear box temp sensor

Hi I was in the Peak District when my auto gear box temp light came on. I diagnosed it as a faulty sensor as when the box was cold the light was still on and when I disconnect it the light went off.
So it looks like I need a new one. Can any one tell me where I can get one please.

Yes, but the part number relates to a D2. ....
For a D1 take your pick, part 10 in this link. http://www.allbrit.de/UNI.cfm? PAGE=804138&SPRACHE=EN I expect part numbers have now been superseded.

I looked at the site discool said and it said the part number is amr4948
I found this but no pic

If it's a picture your after just google the part number, and look under 'image', but then I have already posted a picture of the item for u have I not.

The one posted by discool is the same as the one on my D1 auto, just make sure the wires are secure because if one drops off the light won't come on and you can cook the box with a long session of off roading.
