Afternoon all.
No sure if anyone has done this yet. But I am researching the possibility of fitting auto folding wing mirrors to my 2000 TD4. I live in a narrow street and you can be sure that if I forget to fold the mirrors in they wont be there when I return, they are usually 30 feet up the road in peices. Any info would help. Cheers.

I understood what he meant right away. He's very helpful around the Freelander section...

Thank you all for the help and advice. This will definitely be my next mod.
One more question. Which year / model should I be looking for to source the mirrors?

You'd better be having a laugh!!!!

no you all have got me wrong I do not want any money I meant what it will cost you for the bits , wire ,switch and fuses, I would not dream of trying to charge any body for my info. I am on holiday in Ireland at the moment , but I suppose I can draw a diagram and take a photo and then put it on here.

no worries, I guess he got it the wrong end of the stick :), I understood it same way to tell for the bits and pieces and actually I think that'll be something I'd like to go for next. Did you change it on your one as well?
