2013 Freelander 2 Power Fold Mirrors Issue ??

Hi ppl,

Hope someone can help is thier anyway to stop the power fold mirrors from folding ? i have a problem with the drivers side keeps getting stuck when folding in, it gets thier eventually but i would rather just keep them out ?

Is thier a way of doing that ? or maybe a fuse that controls them so they will stay open ?

I don't know about the later models, but the early models need to have power fold deactivated using suitable diagnostic equipment.
It is better and easier to simply fix the mirror.

Thx for the reply I’m not a fixer so will prob have to try to find a replacement mirror

If you have access to a Gap OD11 reader it will turn off the power mirrors, it was one of the main reason I brought mine so I could turn off the power mirrors for the winter as they get frozen solid over here but it has paid for itself in other ways as it is a 800kilometer journey to the nearest JLR service garage for me.

Thx for the reply’s I managed to find a way after some google I found this on another forum so they are now in the out position which is fine and don’t fold in when I lock the car
