auto electrician wanted! :(

im in need of a good auto electrician in merseyside... anyone out there that can help please

What's the issue?

I turn my key an I get the automatic gearbox temp light. I have no clue what I'm doing when comes to auto electrics :-/

Is yours an auto box or an R380?

If 380, there is a screw in sender on the side of the gearbox (left hand side I think) - pull the wires off and see if the light goes off.

If it does, faulty sender I suspect (PRC8873).

If light stays on, most likely a chaffing wire somewhere between the switch and the light
