auto cooler

HI ALL /does any one know why the cooling fan runs on the auto cooler rad every time (in the morn)when the wearhers realy cold ,runs five minutes or so goes off dosnt come on again till morning when the weather is verrrrrry cold .weather in scotland cold and just noticed it started again did it last winter too ,any info all good, cheers:welcome2: do they all do it

Could be damp in the switch or sensors

you must be in the wrong part of scotland as its warm here .. bbut i will listen out the next time my car is home for a fortnight between breakdowns ..:5bbeatdeadhorse5:

Duff gearbox temperature sensor maybe? Mine never runs even when towing in the heat but the sensor is OK and so is the fan. (I have a Faultmate to check)

i looked for temo sender ,only one i can find is on the back o the transfer box .its dry, clean , only happens on realy frosty mornings(another blanket i think haha)cheers.sender might be naff tho?
