auto box probs

hi all on this fine day. i need help with 2 questions my back diff is whining do the classic diffs fit the p38??? the main problem is when i put my rangy into drive it will stall put it in park start it back up put it into drive and its fine it will only do it now and then but it is worse when i put it in reverse any help much apprichiated thanks.
