Does anyone know where the gear box breather pipe terminates? I can't really see from the picture in RAVE.

I've got an odd drip of AFT and I wonder if I've over filled my gearbox and it coming out the breather pipe.

Is this even possible?

I only noticed the drip yesterday after a two hour run at 70-80 mph.

I checked my ATF level a few days ago and it needed topping up, but I've just re-checked it this morning and now I'm a bit overfull.

I always have trouble getting this level right, it seems to change with the weather.

Behind the engine on the scuttle. Pipe with a looped end. Overfilling is not a good idea.

Thanks Wammers, I've heard it isn't a good idea to be overfull.

And isn't ATF flammable when mixed with hot exhaust parts?

I'll get some out tonight, but when I checked the level the other day it was low.

Both times did the same procedure (cold engine, run through all gear positions, check dipstick with the engine still running) and today it's high. I always seem to get a different reading when I do it too.

Car needs to be on level ground. Hot fluid and hot cats don't like each other.
