Hi All,

As some of you may be aware, from my recent topic ''F***ING PIKEY B******s'' or soemthing along the lines of that, my Landrover 90 was left in the middle of the road after a brutal attempt of theft.

They had broken the steering lock and jammed the ignition barrel. I have managed to fit a new steering lock and ignition barrel, HOWEVER, the most bizzaree thing is happening:

My side lights will turn on fine. but everything else electrical, iginiton, heaters, radio, horn, beam, hazards, indicators, dashboard (fuel, clock etc) do not seem to have any power to them!!!

I have checked the fuses, as you do, but everything seems fine. Is it possible that i may have wired something wrong and it clashing with everything else?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!!

Anthony

sounds like a wiring error, all you've listed that doesn't come on should be switched through the ignition switch if you look at the circuit diagram for your landy (apart from the clock...!) The side lights will come on ok whether or not the vehicle has an ignition switch present.
