Well that's another three jobs off the list. Changed the leeking engine cooler and pipes yesterday and had a few hours spare so did the leaking ATF cooler and pipes too. Engine cooler is an easy job to do but the tranny cooler is a bitch!.
Replacing the cooler itself aint too bad but getting the new pipes back in is a bit fiddly, and the oil never stops dripping from the bottom of the auto box once the old pipe is removed. I also replaced the transmission filter/ strainer at same time, All in all well worth doing as mine have leeked for about 3-4 weeks and coated the underside with oil. Time for Gunk and hosepipe me thinks. When running the pipes for engine cooler i managed to drop one end of the pipe on the clear fuel pipe from filter to pump and break the fitting. Another £23 on the bill but all sorted now. Engine oil cooler took around 2-2,1/2hrs inc pipes, oil and filter change and ATF cooler took about 3-3,1/2hrs including pipes, oil and filter change.
Final jobs on the list are renew rear diff and panhard rod. A job for next weekend.
