Hi all,

Have been quoted £720 to SUPPLY & FIT 5 '265/75/16' General Grabber AT2s to my Defender 90. Still got the original shoes on and they need swapping.

Anyone know of anywhere I can get them cheaper fully fitted?

Place I know price matches and I want to help myself best I can.

Have done a few searches but I'm not as smart/clued up/great as people here... :violin:

Cheers

Jesus that's extortionate. Would that be a named place like kwik fit or somewhere like that? Try a small independent tyre garage, there's plenty of them around. I know the place around the corner from me took 50 quid to change a set of tyres from 205s to 285s though it was a bugger of a job for them

you wanting new wheels with them? Paddocks have them for 99quid each.

surely you can get them fitted and balance for 20 each

Have been advised they are best to replace my original BF Goodrich tyres that came with the car 14 years ago.

Need to be able to cope in a field for sports events and then in snow when the winter comes around the country lanes...

Can anyone suggest better? And why?

Would be refreshing to hear 'Nope. You've gone for the right ones there mate... Enjoy!'

YES! Thank you MHM.

Having 5 fitted for £690 which seemed the best deal.

You happy with their snow performance then?
