At last i found the cause of the creak

It appears to be the front diff mounting. What i have noticed was the metal cup that houses the bush has a wide side and a narrow side. What is the correct way round for this as mine looks wrong. Ignore my attempt to draw a circle with mouse:doh:



Should the wide bit be fitted towards the front of the car or the rear Mine has the wide bit faceing the front of the car but it seems to be rubbing on the bracket on the subframe giving the annoying creak

The bit you have circled should be facing to the rear.
