Hello all,
I recently took off the acoustic cover on my disco 2 td5 for the first time to give the inlet temp sensor a clean. I noticed there was oil and dirt around the EGR, as well as around the rocker cover. However, of more concern to me was the amount of oil I saw under the hose that attaches to the rocker breather. I will attach some photos to show. There is also a very very slight oil drip under the vehicle. I'm not sure where the oil is coming from in any of the locations, or what the significance is.
Please assist in helping me solve these issues,
Sincerely
Pravesh

Looks like it could use an injector cover gasket, and you may want to replace the 13 washers (over time it's a good idea to replace them). Or check the torque.

Regarding the breather hose... Get rid of the tension clamp, for a proper hose clamp. Td5s can be heavy breathers.

Pull the egr, it's useless.
