If you go for just the kit the machining needs to be accurate so unless you have the means (or know someone who has) go for the exchange casing so it's just a bolt on job.

Haven't heard anything about any issues with them in use apart from the usual ''Ive got an Ashcroft transfer box, Rangie diffs and 37'' tyres......why wont my Landy go up hills?'' :D

Reportedly much stronger than an overdrive (but without intermediate gears, obviously)
 
Very good- I have 2 such equipped vehicles, and one with od. only occasional problem is moving off up hill when towing . have to use low ratio. But the vehicles are just fine otherwise and easier to drive.
