Asda do an engine oil for £4.24 for 4.5 litres - , what are your thoughts on using it in an old 200 - it says it's recommended for older engines??? It's 20/50.

It would do my old Hillman Minx, but Maddie is right your 200TDi is too new unless it's so worn it burns a lot of oil.

At £4.24 its cheaper than Diesel.

never got any in bloody asda by us
It was weeks ago I saw it, never bothered to buy any as I had already bought a bottle at Halfrauds for £27
I also bought my oil in Halfrauds last week for £22 and it came with a set of screwdrivers FREE so I sold the buggers on Ebay for a tenner so the oil only cost me £12..... Then I found out my TD4 needs more than 5 ltr so I may have to go back for more!! Hope the offers still on?
