I've just had an argument with a wheelie bin. I took it out as I turned into a lane and unfortunately it bounced off a fence and hit me back, leaving a couple of dents in the door. It's a newish vehicle and these are the only dents, hence I'd like to do something about them.

Does anyone know how easy it is to take the door interior off and knock them out, and where to get those plastic rivet things to fix the door trim back on.
Thanks.

if youve dented it youve streched the ally, wont be easy to get back right, i'd personaly call it character.

I have seen a trick with a hair dryer and a CO2 fire extinguisher, by warming the area then a blast to cool it. It worked on a steel door it may with an ali one

I have a restoration guide for series landies and it recommends puting engine oil on the patch then heating the back of the panel till the oils stops smoking and turns a bluey/purple colour then beating it. Apparently the idea is to get the ally soft but not too soft that it distorts.

Course then you'll have to get the door resprayed.
