Are all 22" alloys no good

22" wheels should only be fitted to a P38 if, like neo's, it doesn't move.
Any wheel must be rated to carry the weight of a 3 tonne loaded weight vehicle.
Only 16" & 18" are homologated for the P38, anything else may be an MOT failure under the new regs.

Think of them upcoming pot holes this winter bending your nice shiny chrome 22" alloys that support the weight of a 2 tonne vehicle with them painted on tyres.....dudum dudum dudum dudum.

They'd end up with more balancing weights than a defenders steels!

the 20's on my 2001 P38 tram like no-ones business. dropping down to 16 with winter tyres this year. refurbing the 20's in black chrome with new rubber for the summer. could be that the rubber is so low on mine that that doesnt help. well, i say low, still legal but as others have said, the lower the tread gets, the worse it feels.

20" all the way every time

Bought mine on 22"s it looked like a tonka toy !

Slightly harsher ride on 22's as well

The 20's look a lot more classier than the 22" (sorry but got to call em) chav wheels

Sold the 22's on Ebay the other week
