arb locker arrived...

What the hell happens now lol....


Arb arrived already in a diff...

Switch, solenoid and pipe he promised with it isn't there but he says he packed it...


Ill have to buy the switch, airline and solenoid as well as an arb compressor..


Anything else i need?

I am delving into a whole different world here so not sure...

Also, i really do need to find an alternative to an arb compressor... I can't justify another 300 notes on a compressor....


Im sure ive read somewhere before of a cheaper alternative..

Well I never thought I'd give myself a ####ing headache trying to find a 5 pins locker switch for my front locker.....

Thanks mate. I think Devon 4x4 is down as it won't load. I'll look tomorrow. Ebay wasn't throwing anything up at a decent price and the guy who sent the locker said he sent the line, switch and solenoid with it but they wasn't there so I'm getting the last few parts bit by bit..

Bench tested my arb compressor and locker today and it seemed to let air pass the o rings when sat on the bench.. It also seemed to let less air through when turning the diff by hand. I'm guessing this should let no air through at all.... New o rings I think??

Sounds that way. Good idea that, must bench test mine before i put them in...

My mates did that was told it would be ok once it had been used and it was, but if it were me I'd just change hp the seals

so new o rings, i dont wanna buy them online, i want to find somewhere tomorrow in the work van, what kind of shop sells O rings lol...

Engineering supplies,bearing stockist, heating parts supplier, old style motor factors,

LOL, when you've done breaking .. er .. messing with it .. bring it over, collect your winch and I'll fettle the diff for you .. It won't take 6 months this time either ..

Sold my disco so currently looking for a run about as i can't rely on the 90 at all...

Ill go take the o rings out soon and then whilst at work tomorrow ill find some sort of o ring shop! thanks for the list of places jam! now find me 1 in and around mansfield lol
