Now i'm confused. I have an M reg Auto 300TDi.

Having had a look around on t'interweb I think i've worked out it's a non-EDC version. No wires, no MAF sensor and a throttle cable.

Trouble is the immobiliser works a little too well. So well there is a wire running from the ignition barrel to the starter motor.

I went a hunting for the spider unit, and there isn't one... sooo where next columbus? :scratching_chin:

no fob, hasn't been for the last 4 years at least as i know previous owner, it always worked off the key then about 4 months it stopped.
I rigged a bypass from the barrel to the starter motor for him.

Maybe the microswitch or it's operating cam is broken at the back of the door lock, if so you would be unable to set the immobiliser via the door key.

how many switches are there in the mechanism? The keys arms and disarms the alarm, operates most of the central locking and mechanically engages/disengages the locking mechanism.

well the CL is mad anyway, the drivers door unlocks, the passenger doesn't, rear drivers works, rear passenger pops up but not enough to unlock the door, boot door works fine.

Switches, there two one CL & alarm the other immobiliser and with the CL either the actuators require a slight adjustment andor the lock springs are broken with "pops up but not enough to unlock the door".
