Anyone want to do some work on my series 3 for £

I want to get my series 3 sorted a bit more for my wedding in 6 weeks i am just running out of time..... i am based near Taunton Bridgwater. looking for someone to do some work on both axles, check replace bearing brakes as needed.
need front radiator panel swapping (just picked up a rust free one) swap front wings for less knackered ones, some gentle panel bashing on rear tub, then finally some Marine blue to finish.....
any takers?????

Looks like a job for the Taunton massive. A veritable cry for help that should bring our local brothers clambering your way for copious ammounts of tea and toast.
Many hands would make short work of such a task and see our comrade up and thumping for his big day.

How hard can it be.......

Don't want much then are we talking dole dodgers money or proper money

It sounds almost a restoration. Add into that things that will break along the way if none of this has been disturbed for years such as, wing screws and clips, brake pipe's, bleed screws, slave cylinders etc. Do you have spares?

Theres not too much to do really a couple of long weekends to get the repairs done BUT the paint work is a different matter lots of prep if you want a good finish that takes time! BUT you can just brush or roller if you are not too fussy? ID offer weekend help if you lived nearer! Good luck. Regards. Chris

Begger scant be choosers. It gets the roller or nowt.

just about to do a provisional order for bearings and brake parts, i am struggling to find good Series 3 wings. have two outer wings that could be swapped but would prefer whole wings as its less messing around. £££ side of things i am prepared to pay a fair rate, i think i would realistically have to limit my expectations on the paint front and see how a day of prep & and a day of painting goes.....

Does this story have a happy ending..a joyious wedding with a shiny landy?

not yet... but i have a parcel of brake bits to try and sort next weekend
think i will do a very quick paint job.. weekend roller special!
urgently need some good Front wings though as they have a few battle scares
