HI
Not sure where to post this one so I hope its ok here ?

I'm looking for a pair of Range Rover diffs for my series landrover , to up the gearing a bit .

I assume it has to be the older classic Range Rover so if anyone is scrapping one let me know !

Thanks

Hiya mate
I'm in west Wales,I think I've got one rangie diff maybe two,I took them out of my 2a when I put the disco axles on so there's nothing wrong with them.I'm not home till Friday but I'll have a look and let you know when I get back. I'm up in Hereford every week or so at the chicken factory so may be able to sort something out :D

cheers

hi, just out of curiosity how did your landy run with the range rover diff? thinking of doing it to mine,
was it that much of a change?
how was the low range after?
many thanks

I fitted RR diffs in my lightwieght, what a difference!!!
Miles better, relaxed cruising as well, just make sure your engines in good condition.

Great , hope you find them I'll wait to hear and let me know how much you want for them if you do find them .

I fitted range rover diffs to a military S11a that was fitted with a Perkins 4203 , so a really torque but slow reving engine the range rover diffs really made a differance gearing up maybe about 20 % , low range is so low it was fine geared up a little .

hi bud ,,,did have a look lastnight its the front one we got well we got two front's but in they the same as the back ? if so we got the two ..
can anyone tell us if the back diff is the same as the front plz ;)

my m8 seems to think so

and when you do get them in you will find it will be like you have a 5gear :D he said his was alot better with the r/r diff in ;)

any landrover 10 spline diffs will fit ,the rr early diffs were used as the have a filler plug in diff case as not all series have a filler in rear diff pan ,but you can make your own filler by welding nut on case ,if a bit worn diffs used on front can be a little noisy if fitted in back as you will be running on opposite of gear teeth
