Yes...and most people here do offer beer tokens or a service once they've been helped...but its the first time i've seen someone blatantly try and charge to help.

for once, :faint2: I agree with John. As he is very unlikely to have a trailer to loan, asking about the cost wasnt really soliciting for money, was it?

for £30 that wouldnt cover anyone not local delivering and collecting it.

Thor (or John allegedly) asked how much after 15 minutes...now if LZIR or Courier Service are to continue to operate as they do now, surely the subject of payment shouldn't arise..(especially 15 minutes after someone has asked for help).

I am fully aware that people offer payment or goods in return...but this is purely up to the individuals whether they offer or for that matter accept.

In my opinion it was crass and unnecessary.
