Ive only been annoyed by people accusing me of doing something illegal, scam or making stupid comments, Ive been on many forums over the years and am aware of the modus operandi but some of you have really been a pain and of no help at all (and yes if you accuse me of doing something illegal, make negative comments I will respond accordingly). While I appreciate advice from experienced members I am clear on what I need and if no one here is willing to do that favor in exchange for $$$ then goodbye to you all! Best luck to you all with your elaborate imaginations & paranoia!

I don't want to get into a bunfight here @95LSE , may I just respectfully suggest that you might well get a different type of response if you copy your post into the "anything goes" section. :) certainly be a wider audience.

Paranoia what drugs are you on in Puerta looked at your vehicle on your website..bench seat convertion...lift kit...and custom dash...instant fail here in portugal get a new agent end of.
That seems clear enough to me. It seems our agitated friend is flogging the proverbial dead donkey in terms of the Portugese authorities allowing the registration and importation of the offending vehicle in it's current format.
I'm now going to lie down in a darkened room and exercise my paranoid imagination

Out of curiosity I took a look at the truck in question........

It is his truck but I think he's ruined an early Ninety by turning it into a 'Land Rover Defender V8 SVX Special Build'; personally I prefer to keep the oldies original, but as I say it's 95LSE's so he can do what he likes with it. I'm sure someone will like it........55.000€ or £49,374!
However, it will never be a 'Defender', it is a 1989/1990 'Ninety' no matter how much wood panelling and bling is thrown at it.
Good luck 95LSE; I actually believe your story but I doubt that you will be able to get a converted 2.5TD Ninety registered as a V8 Defender in Portugal.
Perhaps if you get it sorted you will return here and tell us how you did it (or more likely why you couldn't get it done!)........

Jesus that's hideous
I unfortunately have to agree. It looks like a mobile sauna. Each to their own but I can't help feeling it would appeal to a wider audience of potential buyers and fetch more money without the wood. As an aside....... how does anyone get into the back to sit on the bench? It looks like you would have to climb over the bulkhead or the rear seat and it wold be a cosy fit for two. Also where do they put their legs? Surely their knees would be under their chins? Just saying

Unbelievable. I shudder to think what he has done to the same vehicle as mine. :(

And my learned colleague, fresh out of her own Td5 Defender, asked if he was trying to make a hot tub on wheels! :D
