Anyone got Vounge l322 wheels for sale?

Looking for some Wheels for my vouge. I have the standerd landrover wheels pictured below witch i cant stand! Maybe if anyone has a set of the standerd range rover wheels the 6 spoke ones or a set of overfinch stormer look a likes? Im not after anything chavy or chrome

I assume your car must be a diesel if it has standard 18" wheels. Bigger wheels were not offered on the diesel (even as an option) because of torsional vibration issues with the driveline. These were sorted for 2006MY with the new transfer box and 6-speed transmission. If your L322 is a diesel and you put bigger wheels on it there's a good chance the car will vibrate when stationary, in gear.

Ah rite ok i wasnt aware of this so thanks very much for the advice. Yes its the td6. I wasnt really after bigger wheels just better looking ones im quite happy with the 18 inch and i tow my jet ski most weekends so i dont think bigger wheels would be a good idea.

hi ive got a set or r r sport alloys for sale if anygood 18 inch,requires tyres but you maybe able to swap your tyres over?heres a pic of them on my 2000 vogue

I have a set of 20" Range Rover Stormers in the garage from my L322.

I put on 22" instead, although the ride is better with the 20".

They are not perfect so would benefit from a refurb ( about £40 a wheel last time I had some done) & you would need to buy the centres from Land Rover.

looking for a set of 18" alloys for my 2005 Vogue to fit winter tyres to, any body know where there might be some for sale?

Neil, I have 4 for sale. Where are you in uk? I have 2 sets, the original 18"wheels that came with the first 2002/2003 RRs and another set which are the same as pimpderange has on his but are L322 RR 18".

Hi, very interesting, I've got 19" on my L322 and it does vibrate when stationary, do you happen to know why it does this?

as im about to put 20" stormers on mine

Oh and will also have my original 18" wheels up for grabs after this weekend if anyones interested. 3 with at least 5mm tread - good for winter tyres

well, fitted my 20" stormers this weekend !

Vast improvement compared to old ones, not just on looks but the car handles much better then before, not so bouncy or leany around roundabouts !

slightly harder ride being low profile tyres but i can put up with that. and i have noticed it does vibrate slightly more with the new wheels when in gear and stationary. wonder why the extra 2" makes the difference ?

I have 20" vogue alloys on my 2003 TD6 with no vibration when stationary and the ride is better than the 18's (in my opinion any way)

i can only assume its because the bigger wheels have a lower profile tyre therefore less tyre wall to absorb the extra vibration from the diesel engine

It’s a torsional vibration issue relating to how the stiffnesses and inertias in the driveline respond to the firing frequencies of the TD6 engine. The transfer box on the TD6, for example, has a large damping mass bolted to it which is not fitted to the V8 petrol models. The bigger wheels have different stiffness, inertia and damping characteristics.

There was a T4 diagnostic CD release at the end of 2004 (2005 MY) which included a revised engine calibration for the fitment of 19” wheels to the diesel :

Hi, I recently bought a second hand diesel l322 vogue which has been fitted with 20" 7 spokes on 255/50/r20 tyres. I have noticed this vibration and am constantly putting it into neutral when sat at lights.

Is this vibration dangerous for its health or just an annoyance as I would rather not have to revert back to 18" wheels.
