Am not sure that the tax has run out though, as far as I know the test is still within date.

Someone at college said that there's a bit in the law saying that if you buy a vehicle with no MOT you can drive it home legally.

But he's from kernow so I'm not sure how far I trust that

if its tax exempt does it need summit to say its tax exempt(other than the v5-n the number plate)

Just the tax disk, it still has to be renewed anually it just doesn't cost anything

The post office type it in on there little computer thing and it comes up as nill i think...

Just spoke to the chap, he says it turns over fine just doesn't fire. Back fired a couple of times when it ran but now won't start. And the tax disk has expired too.

What do you think the chances are of getting it ready for a MOT in a morning and it passing?

Getting it ready's one thing, how the buggery bollox could we assess it's chances of passing wivout knowing the motor FFS?
