Carradale
Campbeltown, Argyll and Bute
UK

does that make sense? its on that leg of land that sheilds the isle of arran.

Going as close to banbury, oxfordshire as I can get!

Other than that, what do you think the chances are that if I book it for an MOT, find a way up there, get a convergence of jockanese LZ peeps there, that it will pass?

take a week orf, and make a holiday of it.

If yu hadnt ****ed Tweets orf - yu mite have asked for his assistance and maybe rented some storage in that huge empty garage at his mums, to be able to fix it.;)

Join the AA.
Arrange some insurance.
Book an MOT at a garage nearby.
Take a train up there.
Call the AA.
If they fix it, keep the MOT appointment then drive it home.
If they don't fix it, you and your Landy get a free ride back to Banbury and the garage gets a no-show.

The AA don't check whether you've got an MOT!

It int got no tax though & they do check that, Also I have heard that they have started checking the online Insurance database and if it int insured they won't move it

In that case yer fooked fer fetching it yerself.

There's a number of companies advertise on e-bay that they collect and deliver cars anywhere. Why not get a quote off one of them?

sort a trailer and see if you can relay it there n back ? om sure their,s a couple a tupp,s on here that would give you a hand. how fast has it got to be moved ?

Fook sake, yer all advising him to join the AA and get them to shift it, but what you aint telling him is his policy would take 16 days to become "active" from the day of purchase

Nelly FFS, I don't know why you've blocked me but as far as I'm aware we aint fallen out,

I've got to go Prestwick (Ayr) on the 6th of October, there is a fair chance I will be taking the car, speak nice to the man selling it and see if he can get it to the main land, if not you could always meet me when I come back on the 8th and we can go fetch it, by all means we can bring it to my mums where you can work on it, any parts could be delivered to my flat, that way you could have em next day, (takes longer to get em to mums) or I could tow it somewhere where it can be relayed back to Banbury

Just need to get hold of a trailer, which I'm sure wont be a problem.....

Wahooo return of tweets!
If yer gonna rent a trailer do it from that end and use a nationwide company like hss, hewden etc. Pick it up that end finnish with it in banbury, dont have fuel costs for towing both directions.

Anyway Flump I've told you organise a trailer & GJ'd disco and I will drive you there and back. allow about £180 for diesel.

I am guessing that GJ can't tow it because he has a new licence... unless he has taken the towing test?
