was out playing and managed to hit something quite hard with the N/S front wheel and with the wheels in a straight ahead position the steering wheel was miles out and had less than half turn right and loads, loads left.

limped it back to the workshop and had a look, the track rod and drag link are straight and true and the drop arm hadn't turned on the box. took the drop arm off and looked up the splines and it looks twisted where it goes into the box. has any one else had this?

i did the best thing i could and wound the drag link right in as far as it would go and re centred the steering wheel giving me full lock left and 2/3's right now, not ideal but better that no right at all!! its got it back on the road but the disco's really wobbly and wandery and quite frankly scary! also goes quite tight in places,

i'm going to get a replacement box any way but was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble like this?
