Anyone bought a Britpart rear silencer?

They are supposed to have a lifetime guarantee Doug .

I even jet wash mine with all this bleeding salt around! (anal or wot!?)

Post last week- they are crap

i bought a stainless one and it seems to be holding up fine so far, much better than the one that was on there. don't even know where the one that was on there came from, it had twin tail pipes, couldn't find another like this anywhere. Update: Britpart, via LR Direct, have refunded the cost of the exhaust and postage of the old one.

I've also picked up an '02 Td4 for parts (£275) which has a newish Bosal back box on it.

Got a new back box for a 04 Td4 off e-bay couple of weeks ago for £29.95 with free delivery. It seems good enough quality and fitted well enough and also has a 2 year warranty but I suppose only time will tell. Bought if from clickcarparts and it was here in two days.

Wow, that's cheap. Make a note of date and mileage fitted, in case you need to make a warranty claim later. Sorry to be cynical, but my guess is it'll rust like buggery.

That's ok mate but I hope your wrong , it weighed a ton so hopefully it pretty well made ...
