Hello.
I know this is a bit of a long shot, but here goes...
I'm in the process of restoring a 1969 Series 2A (SWB truck cab). I'm also trying to find out as much as I can about the history of it. I sent off form V888 to the DVLA and it turns out that the first owner was "Central Garages Limited" in Barnstaple. They painted it black and yellow (!) and kept it for 18 years. The garage doesn't appear to be there anymore, but it's not so long ago that someone might remember the place (and their black and yellow Series 2).
So, can anyone help?
