any ideas why I seem to be going through clutch master cylinders and slave cylinders . Three m/cylinders & two slave cylinders n one flexi hose that was faulty in a year . Not Bripart but always lucus parts used. Only the metal hydraulic pipe has not been changed as I have been told this doesn't wear out.:cool: 1994 DEF. 90

Presume that it is the seals going on the cylinders and nothing mech. What type of breakfluid are you using in the system?
 
LT77 gearbox. seals keep giving in .DOT 4 fluid. Starts off with soft feeling pedal so bleed what air is in the system then all is fine for a while then soft pedal starts again then within a matter of a few miles it looses all preasure but have got home . The fluid always looks like its years old though just months or weeks old in one case. Have never stripped the units down to see what the seals are like really don't have the time for that.
 
No new parts each time:D like the thinking. So yet another new m/ cylinder slave, cylinder flexi hose, fresh dot 4 fluid and this time new pipe work not as tidy as land rover but still its working. the master thats been replaced was totaly goosed , bits of rubber seal in the chamber and the rod was just flappin about doing its own thing. so heres hopin this one lasts a while.
