Anuvver newbie

Hi all,

I am Geoff, I live in Dartford, Kent. I am a former soldier of 18 years and used to drive Land rover soft tops and defenders off road on manoeuvres.

I now own a Freelander XEI 2005, which sadly I am having problems with. I have had a new cylinder head gasket fitted 18 months ago, since then it ran with what is termed as a 'Lumpy' engine.

Last week I had a new manifold fitted, seems I cracked the old on on a weld (yeah right)?, problem is it still runs 'Lumpy' and shudders when I raise the clutch in 1st gear.

I have a feeling that it might be the spark plugs need changing, any help or suggestions would be very helpful.
