Another V6 bites the dust

Woz at BCA today,see 4 Freelanders go through and guess what,they were all 1.8s.A 2000 went through for £2075 and it was a struggle to get that,but they all looked half decent.Seems that peeps are getting wise and buying with caution.

so why did sum bastards only offer £1600 for my V6 when i had spent £6300 on it.

Anyone remember the lump of crap that Ford put in the transit and corsair (I am of course referring to the 1700 and 2000 V4).They blew head gaskets quicker than they could make them,also used to crack blocks quite regular.The funny thing is it had no effect on the popularity of the transit and look how long that has lasted.I think that proves that it is all down to the attitude of the manufacturers and their ability to change things when a fault becomes apparent.

Got a 428 marinised lump down the marina,came out of a smashed up powerboat in spain.Never been used since.
