Hi all.
Fitted an old hood stick set a while back and replaced the seals as ones that came with it were either missing or shot.
The ones I fitted are pretty robust and I’m struggling to get the doors to shut. Without door tops, I can get the door to shut with a lovely click, but once the tops are back on, it’s a struggle. Any advice or heads up on some softer, thinner seals would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Old landy doors are meant to be slammed shut. Alternatively, you could bend the door top mounting bolts a little by threading a couple of nuts on, putting it in a vice and applying some pressure. New door tops are tight anyway but they loosen up after a while.

There is some adjustment in the tilt frame as well as the door have you tried this? If nt I would do what Col has suggested, although you can just get hold of the door top top and carefully bend it outwards while it is fitted to the door. Carefully is key here though.
